Breeches and Disputes

We aim to offer a safe space to all participants irrespective of religion, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, or disability. Our staff will talk to you about your desired outcome and how the situation can be handled so you can return and enjoy our games! After all, that’s the aim!

Streetgames Coaches are happy to assist with the understanding of a decision made if asked calmly and respectfully. This should be addressed either at break time or at the end of the game. If you are not satisfied with the response please speak to the GippSport Streetgames Program Coordinator or Program Officer. GippSport Streetgames welcomes any feedback on the program or Coaches.

A player who is sent out of the game must leave the game immediately.

Minor Infractions to this Code of Conduct will result in a warning, then a ‘time-out’ for the participant. This will result in the participant being removed from the game for a short time to diffuse a situation. It is at the GippSport Streetgames Coach’s discretion when the participant can return to play.

More serious infractions, such as aggressive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour, will be dealt with more seriously. The participant may be asked to leave the event, the incident will be reported to the Streetgames Coordinator and dealt with at their discretion, following GippSport Streetgames Policies and Procedures.

Continuous or repeated offenses of misconduct will result in either the participants or team being removed from the game for the safety of the other teams and the integrity of the game. The Streetgames Coach has the ultimate authority to abandon the game.
